Helping Participants Break into the Hidden Labor Market - New EDSC Training

Research states that 60-80% of job openings are never advertised in newspapers or on-line. It's clear - the good jobs and opportunities of the future will go to individuals who are well networked.

Yet, 93% of students say they never follow-up with potential employers, summer work experience sites and/or mentors. An astonishing 90% feel they do not possess the skills to do so. Moreover, 87% of programs indicate that they DO NOT provide youth and/or staff with follow-up and networking tools, trainings and strategies!

We have developed the new Opportunity through Networking (OTN) training seminar which includes several tools and resources to help programs turn their job seekers into opportunity networking machines.

The program consists of a 1 day of training. We spend the morning session teaching staff on building a program based opportunity networking system. During the afternoon we focus on instructing participants on why such a system is important and how to utilize the system. Upon completion of the OTN seminar, programs are provided monthly access to webinars and instructional videos to help them further develop their OTN system.

We are opening up dates for this special seminar. Don't leave your program behind in the dust. Book a one day training seminar for your organization today. We are offering a special discount for all programs booked before 12/30/2011. I can be reached at 301-252-0146 or edscinfo@gmail.com. Reach all youth, Edward DeJesus
