IMPROVE SYSTEM WIDE YOUTH ENGAGEMENT

Experiences gleaned from many workforce programs indicate significant challenges to engaging and placing high-risk youth.  The engagement difficulties that many systems face stems from the reliance on recruitment and engagement strategies that were created in the early 1970s and are inconsistent with the changing nature of the youth population. It goes without saying that what worked in 1970 will not necessarily work in 2018. The dynamics of youth thinking and culture are undeniably different, and require that methodology bends and changes to meet this diverse demographic. To answer this call, DeJesus Solutions  created the Youth Engagement Program Model  after extensive research on effective youth engagement and programming.  
The model calls for a fundamental redesign of four program areas.  E-YEP is an entirely new method for connecting with youth and  producing more positive program outcomes for youth  and programs alike.
